I had the oppurtunity to fish Congamound Lakes again today 11/29/09. I went out with a few good friends John and Gator. We noticed a few other regulars out trying there luck. We worked a few well known humps and points with a few missed fish. We then tried the first drop on a few of our favorite shorelines without any luck. We then opted for a fresh cup of hot Coffe before trying our luck in North Pond. Once in North pond we thought the bite would pick up, This move started out better than it ended with John boating our first keeper 2# Bass, Gator followed up with a slimy one and I finished with a  mini Pumpkinseed. We had a great time even with the fish off for the holidays,  it was time well spent.  If  the oppurtunity arise I would jump at the chance to head back out until the ice comes.
