I was able to spend a little time fishing Congamound today 9/7/09.

Due to the holiday the place was packed with both pleasure boaters and fishermen. I was able to get my daughter to put down the text master 3000 and pick up the rod for a few hours this morning. We started out working a few main lake humps but she decided she preferred the shallower patterns. We worked a few of the shallow boat docks but with all the traffic and the sun not up full yet the bite was slower than normal. I was able to get her to spend 3 or so hours before she decided she missed the master text er and wanted out of the boat. I was able to fill her spot with a one of my good friend Shawn. We headed for our favorite muck spots in search for the noon time bite. We ended the day with a few nice Bass both in and out of the weeds. All in all a great way to end a picture perfect Holiday Weekend.
