fished there on Sunday for the first time and what a great section of the river this is, the amount of fishable water is tremendious,we didn't catch alot but, can't wait to fish it againSmile

That section can be great, we used to hold a few club tournaments out of there. I love all the back water that place has to offers.. it seems to go on for ever.

Hey new here to the site.  We've been finding the bass fishing to be a little slower than usual here, we're in North Ashburnham Ma.  Have you been up to Hindsdale lately, and hows the fishing been?  Might take up trip up to Norms if it's worth it.

My son and I just fished Bartons cove section Sat. and the bite was on, did not make it up to hinsdale section this year but I am sure the results would be the same. The fish where starting to school up already.

We love the Bartons Cove area also, camped there a couple years ago.  We're looking at going out of Northfield or Hindsdale soon.  Thanks for the info guys.
