Hula popper, Nothing beats the good ole tried and true JITTERBUG of yesteryear still catches a fair share of trophy night bass

todays hot topwaters include to name a few

Pop-x  Mega bass

Sammy Mega bass

Zara Spook (OLD SCHOOL 3 HOOK)

Buzz baits

Tiny torpedos

I am sure I missed at least a few other hot top water lures

Yeah Baby! Top water is where it's at!
I really like using the Berkly Frenzy topwater plug. My favorite is purple on top white on bottom. Take off the split ring and tie up directly to the metal widget thing where the split ring attached for better control of the lure, I get some great splash spit and chug with it's design, nice chicken feathers on the rear treble for a little extra attraction… That lure has caught more fish for me than any other topwater and they're inexpensive which helps me enjoy it that much more.
