Did anyone else notice the tight lipped fish this past weekend. Our club had a tournament on A-1 with dismal results for all. All of the boats caught their limit but had issues finding quality fish. The winning weight was a little over 8 pounds including the 2 and change lunker. The spread from the winner to last place was just over 2 pounds. This was the tightest and least weighing event I can remember. Maybe I should rephrase that statement it was the tightest grouping where all the club members weighed in a limit. All in all it was good to be out just tough to land dozens of 12.25-13 inch fish and never see anything over 3 pounds come to the scale.

We should have better results coming out of the oxbow in 2 weeks I hope.

Are you talking Congamond? I hope those poor bass are done by now and off trying recoup in deeper water, I was told the place was a zoo this past weekend.
