Has anyone had the need to returned a rod to GLoomis. I am going through the process now and not to sure for the cost if these are the best choice for me. The rod snapped at the tip during a hook set @ Champlain fishing the Chestnuts. The only good part was we landed the fish otherwise it is a pia. The rod was purchased from Cabela's less than a year ago and I kept the receipt. I am wondering if they would take it back and deal with all the necessary p-work and possibly 100.00 Charge to replace (If they find no manufactures defect). Loomis offers some sort of wild card service to replace rod one time for free but can only be used once in a life time. I do not think I want to use @ this time because I was able to pick this rod up for 200 on sale @ Cabela's.

Thoughts???Confused
