just got a black carbon handle moves in and out some. should it? and does it happen with other reels?

Did you buy a replacement handle? or is this the handle that came with the reel?

If it is a replacement maybe the shaft length is not correct?

If it is the handle that should be on the reel did you tighten the handle nut as if this is not tight it will have some slop.
