I am looking to replace my scale. I have a inexpensive rapala stlye scale currently. The scale has worked well for quite a while but it seems the battery is starting to fail. what scale are others using in the boat for culling and does it hold up??? I am cosidering a culling system but wonder if it is a bunch of hype or not.

get yourself an Xtools scale, it is waterproof, floats and very accurate. I have had mine for about 4years and it works great, I even  have it certified by the town  so I can use it to weigh fish for the mass state pins.

Guys thanks for the help, I looked at lunch time and noticed them on sale so decided on taking the chance for the price I tought I could not lose, Thanks again does this one have a replaceable battery in it or is it like the rapala version I had and you have to toss it after a few years as they are sealed like a portable phone version?
