Have you ever been caught up in the excitement of the moment of that big catch that you lost grip of your landing net only to watch it drop in the water and sink? Here is some quick advice on how to never lose an aluminum landing to the bottom of the lake again. Simply remove the end cap of the handle and fill it with some sort of Styrofoam such as packing peanuts.

Doing this will give it just enough buoyancy to keep it at the surface or close enough so that you can grab it out of the water before you have to watch it sink! If you have any other helpful tips on ways not to lose your landing net then please share them here!
