It's cold enough now for every body of water to freeze. Today all water bodies will be making ice all day due to how cold it is. It will be cold enough to make ice tonight – Lo of 6, tomorrow night - Lo of 16 and friday night Lo – 20. By Saturday I'm going to say it's safe to conclude most all lakes and ponds will have a minimum of 4 to 6 inches or more especially with how cold it is now. In general you can figure on 2 – 3 inches of ice a day if the temp stays bellow 25 and goeas as low as 6. I think at this point your going to be limited to the river, and that may have enough ice on it at the launches to keep you off. But with that, I hope you find something. I know I will be ice fishing the rest of this week!

I think I can make it out one more Sat. before we hit the ice, as you guys know I love a challenge. If I can talk Sean into it we will head south until we find open water….lol I love a challenge
