Over the last few months I kept hearing the ramp folks will be charging a increased one time fee. Does anyone know if they passed this bill or does anyone know how it will work?????????? The only tidbit I was told was it will be a one time charge for docks and guests of the lake @ a rate of $35.00, the folks that told me still thought they would be charging the $5.00 per launch fee also.  Anyone hear more or differently?

Yes it was passed but it is not for the "Transient users" such as us. It is a fee for docks and slips. The only fee we will have is the launch fee. Hope this answered your question.

That is what I was hoping to hear. I would not be opposed to a yearly one time launch pass instead of every time you launch either.

There is a likely hood that the launch fee will be going up for this year. I did talk to Dick last fall and he believed then there was most likely going to be an increase. From our discussion it sounded like just a dollar, but could possibly go as high as three dollars.

I also don't believe you would ever see a one time fee for the year. This would result in a decrease in overall collections due to the amount of boats that go there on a regular basis. If you charge a one time fee of $20.00 but most everyone that buys that goes more than 4 times (and you know they will) they are losing revenue. I like the idea for those that use the lake often, but it's unrealistic for the lake committee.
