After our great trip yesterday I had a very small window to fish today, with this I decided to stay local and fish for a few hours. I was able to make it out with my nephew Nick and hit some local water. We started @ the north end of the lake looking for the warmer water and any cruisers. We found a couple cruisers and then slowed down our approach. I started my sentence if we do not get bit by the time we reach point- we are heading back home and will hit every lake until we get back to town. I was half way thru the sentence when I felt the fish 6.3 lb. After Nick helpedme land this beauty and few pics later we released it back for another day. Nick and I landed one more around 2 pounds then we made our way to the ramp. This trip was a little different than Fridays as I spent most of the morning and early afternoon working a few home jobs, instead of waking up early and waiting the fish out till the water warmed enough to move then up and ring the dinner bell.

I have had great fun the last 2 days hoping for many more !
