 Congamond home owners are trying to pass a fee hike that would increase the ramp fee to 15.00.  They want us to help raise money to buy a new police boat to patrol the lake.
 
 Sue from the ramp called me this week and asked me to email everyone to let you know what they are proposing.  I personally don't want to pay more at a state ramp that I feel should be free. Sue wanted me to give you Senator Michael Knapik's info.  He is the person we need to contact.  If you don't want this to happen email or call him to let him know how you feel.  It may help to squash the proposal.

Just got word from Senator Knapik's office, he will not be moving forward with any legislation for a sticker program for Congamond.

Thanks for staying on top of this. I am sure a bunch of folks fisherman and pleasure boaters appreciate you talking these issues up. I agree we need to stick together and review many of these silent laws as they could slip on pass us. I have and will continue to send e-mails/calls to any law that I am opposed to. I have a mixed opinion on ramp fees I do not mind paying a reasonable cost if it goes back into the upkeep of the ramp and facilities. I do have a issue when I pay into extra license fees and pay a ramp fee and have park in the north 40 lot due to fishing a Thursday night tournament. I would also like to wash my hands and face in the new Welcome center to boot! lmao I feel better now Thanks

Keep up the good work so we can all make our own decisions on these topics.
