I am thinking of different ways to get the fishing folks together and came up with a general question. Do you folks think it would be worth the work and advertising etc to host a annual Ice fishing event? The reason I ask is I really enjoy the challenge and legwork that go into making a successful event. The reason I was thinking maybe a Ice fishing event is because we have so many open water open fishing tournaments now I do not see any benefit of adding another. I also like the idea that many  of the Ice fishing events bring all different types of fishing folks out unlike the open water tournaments that seem to have just bass folks. This is just food for thought but I thought I would toss it out ther and see how many holes it came back with?

I was thinking of Congamond out of convenience? I think iif we had something local we could attract a ton of guys from this area. I would love to up the ante and hook up with some sponsors to give away some killer prizes.
