went to three different places this week looking for some fish. i went to bartons cove, hampton ponds, and the chicopee river. didn't catch a single fish!

used everything in a fisherman's arsenal: drop shots, crankbaits, swimbaits, jigs, live worms, etc… and no luck

no clue whats going on but getting pretty angry

I have only been able to boat fish on small profile baits as of the last 7 days or so. I've been throwing small salamanders black/red flake. Nothing else has been working, tite lipped. Some luck on flashy suspended jerks as well.

@ our last Tournament most of the group found them at all dephs from 2 ft -10 ft and they wher biting Jigs/Chatterbaits and a few caught on lipless cranks and jerk baits, All fish found where prespawn with water temps starting in the high 40s and reaching high fifties by late afternoon. largest bag weighes was a impressive 17.46 (5 fish)

So stay with it as it will change minute by minute this time of the yearLaugh
