I have been trying to keep up with the local news of the addition of zebra mussels in some local Massachusetts lakes. I have heard second hand that is affecting some of the local boat ramps due to closures. I believe the powers to be believe are trying toeliminate the invasion from one lake to another from these closures. I am not a marine biologist but is it possible they could be transported from lake to lake through ducks etc??. Looking for other thoughts and if anyone have heard of other closure besides Quabbin Resevior?
