Took the Ol' Gent out Sunday August 9 for the afternoon ebb at the RACE. According to the tide chart it was supposed to be a 2.9 knot tide….it was much stronger than that.

Tide changed at 1:45 and the rip made up about 30 minutes later. The Ol' Gent hooked into an 8 pounder on the second drift!!!

Boated three more in the next two hours. Action was slowwww. Boat traffic was light.
