This is certainly a fish to remember in your first year of fishing. I've been fishing 25 + years and never caught a fish of this size in my first year. She caught this fish flipping a 5/8 oz  jig/pig in milfold in about 8-10 ft of water. The fish weighted over 6.8 on jennings scale. This fish was caught in Aug. in the Berkshires. The look on her face & actions following after landing it was worth the weight in goal. She has only been fishing a year and what a way to end the season. As a mentor it was quiet an accomplishment to see and be part of. So let's see what this year goals are. Enjoy the picture.
