Shawn, Lee and I made it out on Congamound for a few hours to test the boat and to get our line wet. The Boat seemed to run decent after some much needed repairs. We started from the south ramp and fished the only open water in South pond. We tried the famous Jerk baits, Jigs , Grubs, Blades etc with no luck. The water temps ranged from 44 down to 40 in South pond. I am confused that the warmer water was actually in Middle pond with least amount of open water?. We tried our luck for a few hours but only managed a slight sunburn and a ton of laughs. All in All another great day on the OPEN water.
