Mark Nelson and I are starting a new trail for the Fall. This trail is for the anglers who continue to fish late into the year.  The Name of the trail is the Fall Fishing League (FFL)

The FFL will have 5 tournaments all on the Connecticut River.  4 regular events and a final. Teams will have to 3 of the 4 to Qualify to fish the final. The cost will be 50.00 a tournament and will be 100% payback. There will be a 5 fish limit and you can fish by yourself or as a team.

Schedule:

 Sunday October 16th Oxbow Rte 5 ramp 7-3

 Sunday  November 6th Bartons cove 8-?

 Saturday November 12th Chicopee ramp 8-?

 Saturday November 19th Oxbow Rte 5 ramp 8-?

Final:

Saturday  November 26 Oxbow Rte 5 ramp 8-?

I had a chance to stop by the ramp this afternoon to catch the weigh in, and as always some nice smallies made it to scale. I snapped a few pics of some sweet smallies and will post them soon. I believe they had 10 boats or so and I believe the winning weight was around 12 plus pounds. The lunker of the day was a 5 pound smallie weighed in by Dave Roberts.
