Went Sunday to Otis Res. Had about 6 inches of ice, but they raised the water up about 1 1/2 feet I'm guessing due to the lack of snow. They must be fearfull that they won't be able to fill it so they are trying to safeguard against it. Anyway, the shoreline is in really bad shape, much of it had been open and was only covered by about a 1/2 inch of ice and it's a good distance (about 10 to 50 yards) of unsafe ice before you get to decent ice. We managed to find one small spot to scoot out on and we could only fish for about 2 hours before the ice started heaving on the edes causing open water to develope again. If it doesn't get cold soon, Otis will definately be off limits.
