I have a group of us that have gone to many different places over the past 15 years plus. We try to make it out a least a few times over the winter as many of us have taken up snowmobiling and snowboarding with our kids. Last year we had a lack of snow here in the northeast so we spent more days Ice fishing than years past. I think it is a great time to get outside and grab some exercise and fresh cold air. I was able to coax my kids out for a few trips as well. They seemed to enjoy getting out there  with us. I think if you ask them they will tell the best part is beating us to the flag…. also thefood and hot cocoa. I plan on pulling my gear out in the next couple of weeks as I believe we will have a cold winter heading our way. If you ever make it up this way I believe there would be many folks willing to take you out for the day.
